Armstead Consulting Services - Building Relationships and Shaping Futures
Biography

Mary is the founder and CEO of Armstead Consulting Services.  Mary's first independent business, Mentor and More, was established in 2011 and grew to become Armstead Consulting Services. Mentor and More focused primarily on providing mentoring, editing and research assistance to adult students seeking postsecondary educations.  From this venture, Armstead Consulting Services was organized to include all services previously offered by Mentor and More, but expanded to include additional services to business professionals, organizations and institutions seeking a consultant or orator.

Mary is employed by the federal government in Washington, DC as a Program Analyst.  Prior to joining her current employer, Mary was employed with various other federal agencies and departments in the Commonwealth of Virginia with positions ranging from Paralegal, Legal Administrator, Sr. Management Analyst and Transition Specialist.

Notable is her passion for education and inspiration to others.  Mary has maintained a full-time employment career in public service for over 20 years, while raising a family and pursuing her advanced degrees.  Achieving her doctorate degree in Organization and Management from the School of Business has equipped her with the skills and tools to be an influential and motivating force to others through teaching, consulting, coaching and mentoring.
